As a liquid group of international collaborators working in a proto-democratic model; we are lunching an ongoing project which utilizes the stratagem and aesthetics of corporate culture to explore contemporary art and its relationship to globalization.
MYSAFir draws its language from luxury real estate packaging in Istanbul, New York and Berlin. Other sources include dating, marriage and escort services, as well as vacation packages, and modern mega-churches. The commodified lifestyle is an unsustainable attempt to cope with the fractured identities created by corporate globalization.
Within the confines of the Biennial system and broader cultural myths of the artist, addresses the mimetic collusion of art and corporate culture, in both systemic practices and aesthetic strategy.
